It is understandable that not everyone is able to help others economically. Adopting a child is not only a hard emotional task but it can be financially complicated. There are many ways to help for those who don't have the economic resources to adopt. If adopting a child is too expensive, those who want to be involved in the life of those children that are in need of support and affection can sponsor a child through Children.org. Many children are born in poverty and some countries like Guatemala do not have the option for international adoption. These children are born without access to medical care and no education. I am a sponsor myself and I am proud to say that I'm happy to know that I've made a change in someone's life.
It is amazing that with only $22 dollars a month a child can receive health care, nutritional assistance, family support and good education. I believe that money is sometimes unwisely spent, and I know that most people mistrust these organizations. I'm not going to lie; there might be a lot of organizations that might just take your money and you never see where it goes to. Have in mind that before going into the journey of helping a child, a little research needs to be done. An organization that has been helping for years might be the best option.
